The Power of Mindset and Beliefs of a Junior Golfer
Monday Jan 03, 2022
Monday Jan 03, 2022
Having a growth mindset is a major player in anyone's success in life. But what about beliefs? Well in this episode Dr. Mat Park, Sports Psychologist shares really how important both of those are, and how they go hand in hand!
Dr. Mat grew up playing the game of golf at a very young age and was rank internationally by the age of 14. Like many, he had dreams of playing on the PGA Tour, he worked so hard on perfection that ultimately he ended up walking away from the competitive side of the game.
Although his performance slump ended his golf career, it opened up a new door - an opportunity he gladly accepted because of his own personal struggle. He gave up the pursuit of professional golf, and discovered the field of psychology.
Dr. Mat is extremely knowledgeable in golf and psychology and he talks in a way that I think will resonate very well with you all.
